The High Ceiling/Low Floor QB prospect that is probably our best option in the draft: Malik Willis(And some Sam Howell)

I've played with the PFF draft simulator a lot over the last week and if they are even remotely close to right about team needs and how the draft might fall, I see no reason that we can't get a great WR at 18 and move up into the end of the first to grab one of the QBs. It's still really hard to get a handle on what the teams actually think of this class, but I really can't see more than 2 QBs being taken in the 1st round right now unless a needy team trades back into the 1st. I think we could be that team.

The thing is fans say "grab one of the qbs" like any QB will do. But then when you hear teams talk about it, they usually have 1 QB they want. If that QB happens to be Pickett for us it doesn't matter if Willis falls. Kind of like when we missed out on Mahomes and passed up Watson. Mahomes was our QB. Maybe we'll have 4 or 5 QBs we'll be good with, but I doubt it. Also a 2nd round trade up to a late first would likely cost our 2023 1st round pick maybe more.
