Exactly, and it didn't get us a another ring, so that turned out to be a bad trade up. You can't tell me Ingram played on a level to warrant a 1st and 2nd round pick. You could say he played at a 2nd round pick.

Nobody would think of trading up to get a running back these days.
Ingram was a major part of the Saints' identity regardless of rings.

And regardless of that, I'm not saying I like or dislike that trade or the idea of it again in the future. I'm saying there's historical precedent and with our GM.
