Taysom Hill and Route Running

I think when it comes to Taysom a lot of people conflate "can do" with "is awesome at".
They attribute abilities to a player, that don't exist. ie Taysom learning to be QB1 in one off season in Idaho. He was no closer to learning that in one off season, then he is going to learn to be a starting TE while recovering from his 2nd Lis Franc surgery on his foot.

Does anyone really believe, any player can get into playing shape, learn a new position they have never started at, a few weeks after recovering from from an injury that kept them from putting (playing weight) on their foot for 6 months? Taysom is not Neo from the matrix. He has no special ability to adsorb information, or heal any quicker than any other player. I honestly hope he makes it back to be a part of the offense this coming season. He will get some targets, but nothing like the fan fiction some are writing on here.

Not a lot of players can say they were the best at their position, or they redefined a role through out the league. I would think Taysom would rather be the best (Joker) player of his era, than a back up QB or 3rd TE on this roster.
