I'm not just a Tar Heel fan in hoops but I got to watched a lot of their football games thanks to the ACC Network. To speak on his running, Sam doesn't like to run, he did so out of necessity cause Carolina didn't have any run game last year. They lost their 2 best backs to the draft last year (Carter and Williams).

So Sam running would not be a thing in the NFL. He's a pass first QB.

Overall, he had his moments but I question his decision making at times. I'm "meh" on him. I actually liked Trubisky a lot more than Sam.
