Absolutely. You hear of all these modern guitarists developing all these fancy techniques, then go hunting the back basement of YouTube and there’s Roy Clark 50-60 years ago doing them before some of these guys were even born. He was possibly the first real public star in the television sense with the guitar. Of course he always differed to Haggard, different styles, but Clark could go from instrument to instrument without hesitation.
