Just set something like this up, throw some python code for it to identify raccoons (although most of what I've seen will probably target your cat as well).
That's exactly what I was thinking after seeing that video. Just run a hose out there with a motion activated valve to spray water on em. I'm not certain if it will drive them off or treat them to a shower tho.
