NFL Draft 2022: Saints aren’t done trading after blockbuster deal with Eagles and that’s good news for the Giants and Jets

It was one week ago today the Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints shook up the 2022 NFL Draft with their massive trade involving multiple first-round picks.
The Saints received two 2022 first-round picks (No. 16 and No. 19) and a 2022 sixth-round pick (No. 194) while the Eagles received a 2022 first-round pick (No. 18), a 2023 first-round pick, a 2024 second-round pick, plus 2022 third-round (No. 101) and seventh-round selections (No. 237).
According to the Boston Globe’s Ben Volin, the deal left Eagles general manager Howie Roseman sitting pretty.
Considering this is supposed to be a terrible year for high-end talent atop the draft, it’s a smart trade by the Eagles. They don’t need three mid-first-round picks this year, and this trade ensures they have two first-rounders next year, when they could make a big play for a quarterback. The Eagles also picked up an extra second-round pick for their troubles. ...
