I have flat hobbit feet, so I had to relearn how to run (as I was killing my feet). To bring us back on course with inflation…my Brooks Beast shoes haven’t gone up in price.
Yeah, athletic shoes are expensive. Have been for years. I imagine they're getting worse.
I love that my current company has a benefit for 'healthy rewards'. If you buy running shoes, they'll reimburse half of the cost (up to $250). So, unless you're buying running shoes over $500, it's half off. Which, if you are doing that, we need to talk about priorities... and delusions of being a better athlete. haha.
