Jarvis Landry visiting Saints tomorrow

I think he still has some good years left in him, and I think he would do well in our offense, but I hesitate when I imagine what he is probably asking for, and what he would probably accept. I couldn't see us paying him any more than maybe 9-10 mil a year, on a short term deal. I still like the idea of watching the draft to see if London/Williams/Wilson fall to us at 16. Olave would also be a good option.

IMO, Landry fits the slot role that Lance Moore played so well perfectly. And it's a really productive role in this offense that we have basically been missing since Snead left. Snead wasn't great, but he was pretty productive in that role for us. But, we will still need a young speed receiver to play outside and run deep routes. That's especially true if Winston, or another QB with a strong arm, is playing QB. I'd love to put Olave or Williams out wide with Landry in the Slot and MT on the other side of the field. And, having Landry would take some of the pressure off of a young receiver to come in an immediately be a star.
