I agree about what Landry's role would be if he were to sign. I do wonder if the future slot guy is already on the roster and bringing Landry in will help develop that guy, whether it be Baker, Winston or Merritt.
He would have to help. MT is a great player, but he doesn't strike me as the type that likely spends a lot of time mentoring young receivers. Landry seems like he is that kind of guy and he knows all the tricks for getting open even without great speed.
