I disagree.....we ran the ball a ton in 2018 (almost 50/50), then a bit less in 2019 (about 58/42).....we have been a run heavy team for a while now....no matter the QB....

You may be right, but I think that the reason for that had more to do with Brees being injured/older in those years and the lack of options at WR more than a change in philosophy. I also don't think that the 2019 run/pass ratio was what I'd call conservative other than the fact that they didn't take many shots downfield. I think 60/40 pass/run is about the right mix in today's NFL.

Anyway, like I said, if the plan is to go more conservative, and I don't think it is based on what DA has said, then Winston isn't really the QB to do that with.
