Sorta. The biggest problem Calloway had last season was that he was matched up against a #1 corner, something Lance never saw. In the slot against a nickel, I think Marquez will feast.
Yep. Calloway had issues beating tight man coverage and getting off the line. Putting him in the slot set back off the LOS will give him more space to work with to get separation from the CB. He wouldn't have to try to beat press or tight man coverage in the slot. And he won't have to worry about getting forced out on the sideline.
He seems to fit well in the big slot role that Sean Payton basically brought to the NFL.
