we desperately needed a guy who can dependably stretch the field and get open. That will free up the offense to do way more. Olave will put less pressure on Thomas, free up the TEs, and spell Kamara to do what he wants in space. As long as Olave is healthy this offense will hum.
agreed the offense will be more open and stretched with Olave. Hopefully Carmichael will take advantage of the open space and mismatches to be exploited

Much much less stacked boxes and 8 man fronts. Payton was great designing short pass routes but sometimes got too cute. Defenses played against the run and short passing routes. Carmicheal can now stretch the field by taking more shots deep with Olave and Harty (even TSQ)
our running game/ Oline blocking should be much better without the safety on the LOS
