Ok Mr. Analytics…didn’t you know that CGM is always among the worst WRs at separation per route? If you can’t separate, you have to win contested passes…which is what both CGM and Callaway do very well.
Callaway was among the weaker #1 WRs last year. When you’re facing number one CBs, you’ll have poor separation, especially when that’s not Callaways game to begin with. Now, he’ll be facing #2 and #3 CBs, big difference. Not to mention that he’s still improving. He’s only entering his third season.
Saying that he looked terrible last year is ignorant. Makes me wonder how much Saints football you watch. He was easily our best and most consistent receiver in this trash offense last year.
