Football is football, if he gets hurt on a return it doesn't mean he'd be safer playing offense, Michael Thomas got hurt playing offense. Shaheed is another speed reciever a guy we need on both offense and special teams he is a WR prospect.
Fair enough. But at the same time, it's not a coincidence that nearly all of his injuries came from punt and kick returns, where hits/tackles tend to be the most punishing. He's remained healthy and an x-factor at WR, and the fact that they gave a UDFA in Shaheed a fairly sizeable contract says that's where it's heading regardless. I mean, obviously it's possible that Harty stays on ST, as well. Hard to say until the season rolls around, I guess. Just makes a lot of sense to me.
