the unfortunate part of the match is this probably tables any discussing of getting right of extra time and just going straight to PKs - something i was on board with be the 30' of ET is SELDOM good football

I dislike PKs straight away. Sure, you have matchups where BOTH sides close ranks in ET looking to get to PKs. Playing it safe.
But this is my own personal belief - i never wanted the game to end on PKs. I wanted to keep going til one side just petered out and a goal(s) is/are scored.
I see the benefits, time-wise, but thats all i see.
Id really love to know what the pros think. After all, they are the ones putting in the effort for 90 min both mental and physical.
