Keeping Durant, Harden, and Ibaka would have been my play. Not the perfect play mind you because Ibake was not exactly on an upward trajectory in the years following.

Trading Westbrick while his atleticism still disguised his awfulness could help add young talent around those three goving them an extended window.

I dislike Westbricks game though... of course I dislike OKC too so that couple being left stuck with one another was perfect for me.

Again I am FOREVER pissed at Harden for pushing my Rockets to send CP3 and PICKS for that stat padding inefficient chucker.

What was more maddening about Westbrick's time as a Rocket was his interviews. He seemed a grounded, thoughtful man who, despite being a fierce competitor, valued his family above all else. Hating his game so much, and the negative impact he had on the team's performance... it was really hard to accept that I might like and respect him more as a human being than Harden.
