Since you seem the grocery answer guy, is Trader Joe’s more immune to these costs than others?
I’ve seen prices go substantially everywhere (the sausage at Winn Dixie😵💫), but TJ seems to be much steadier
I have only shopped at Trader Joes once, and its been a while. It isn't close to my house and well, its in Baton Rouge, so that should be reason enough not to frequent.lol.
There are 2 Winn-Dixies by me. I find their prices on the higher side also. The one thing i don't like about WD is their whole BOGO deals. lets up the price by 1 1/2 times and tell them its Buy one get half off.
There is a tiny grocery store out in the boonies where my parents live in Maurepas, and they have better prices on their stuff than a lot of big stores. But they are an AG store, so they get good prices. You would expect the only grocery store within 30 minutes would be high, but Kudos to the owners for not taking advantage of the commuinity. And to top it off, their meat prices are very good too.
I wish i didn't have to go to BR for Costco. My inlaws have a membership and go about once a month. I'll give her a list of some things and i'll just Venmo her for it. But the one item I make sure she gets is the Kirklands Toilet Paper. I think its like $20 for 30 XL rolls.
