Agreed. I've never had a Maryland style crabcake I actually like. However, The Rusty Pelican in Mandeville makes these perfectly crispy, seasoned, full of meat crab cakes that I crave. They are so good, we drive at least once a month across the Causeway to get them and then drive directly back pretending we were never on the Northshore.
