Comic Con Talk (Renamed since LA Comic Con can't get it together)
The pandemic helped no one, but I wonder: Are cons in general getting pinched by middle-class people just having less disposable income these days? Especially mid-level cons?
I could be wrong because my first con with the family was January 2016, but: Just seemed like from talking to others who were doing cons (usually Wizard World in New Orleans) in the early 2010s, that it kinda sorta wasn't that expensive back then unless you were loading up on celebrity pics/autographs. I mean, people back then would still talk about dropping money on a convention, yes, but I bet whatever at a con was $100 in 2012 (tix, autographs, merch, whatever) would be $200-250 today.
