At this point Thomas is an empty glass, I agree fully. There is nothing there to show any sort of half filled feelings. It’s empty until he actually gets on a field and produces if he can. No one knows that yet. If there is too much damage to that ankle, he’s done. If it’s healed and they just taking it easy to build up strength and confidence in it ok then we will see. But I highly doubt he’s back next year when his contract numbers explode.

I have a feeling there’s a lot more to these two stories that we as fans do not know. With Thomas was there some kind of infection that destroyed some tissue? Were the tendons damaged far more than people have let on? Same with Davenport. Amputating a finger due to a plate isn’t a reason for pup. How bad was that infection? What did he go through to still need to be physically limited?
