I prefer to keep people employed so I’m not a fan of the self-checkout option; however, the people who are employed at many of these stores make me want to use the self-checkout option. :covri:
the same thing can be said for EVERY advancement. do you pay for gas at the pump? do you buy anything online? we should have stuck to the middle ages because it'll save jobs?
My wife works for the La Lottery. they have been trying to have mobile lottery app. the La legislature refuses to let this happen because people will quit going in the stores to buy them and they will lose revenue, but allowed all other online gaming.
Just like when they tried to pass a bill to get rid of inspection stickers. the biggest reason they said no was because to many small business rely on the revenue.
