Deshaun Watson Decision (UPDATE: League and PA agree to 11 games, $5M fine)

The NFL have made a real mess of this.
I kinda don't think so, now. After watching it all play out, there's something to be said about how good this is playing out for Goodell's public image. He get's to be the hero who "rejects authority and does what's right"...even when that authority was extended from the company he runs lol

He has final say in the end, no matter what, per the conduct policy. Any "hearing" is really just pomp and circumstances. In this case, it's a good chance to align his image with positve virtues that historically, his decisions haven't aligned with.

Watson deserves it though. Solicitation, alone, is only bad if unwelcomed. Facilitating solicitation without all parties being aware is predatory.
