We clearly have the talent and depth, but man do we have a challenging schedule this year. It is going to take some good luck with injuries and a week to week motivation to get us to that 10 or 12 win season. The unknown for me is how Dennis Allen will do in keeping the team motivated each week, particularly if we face any setbacks! Coach Payton was a master at that and always found ways to keep his teams focused.
Yea, when I first looked at the schedule I thought 8-10 wins. I still think 9 or 10 is probably the likely scenario, BUT with the talent on both sides of the ball AND if DA is somewhat competent we could easily be around the 12 win mark.
A slip up or two we could easily be around the 8 win mark. It’s a brutal schedule and it’ll take everyone doing their job!
