Yeah he doesn’t fit what they’re trying to do down here.
They want to run the ball and create explosive plays. Gesicki is really good at what he does. But he’s a horrible blocker for a TE (unlike Kittle) and if you make him a full-time WR, it’s one less target for Tyreek, Waddle, etc.
Don’t think he’d fit the Saints for the same reasons. Not at $11 million. He’d be a solid RZ target. But there’s only one ball to go around with AK, MT, Olave, Landry, Taysom, etc.
