My guess would be that Charles would want to spare William all that responsibility for as long as he can.. and i doubt William would want to have to ascend to the throne until he absolutely has to.. becuase, while all our lives we’ve heard the phrase ‘It’s good to be king’.. my guess is that the more accurate , real-life phrase would be ‘Heavy is the head that wears the crown .’
