I have a question for you Tolkien nerds. Morgoth destroyed the 2 trees in Valinor and darkened the light. So how can Frodo go there and heal from the light? Was the darkness ever lifted?
The Valar themselves live in Valinor. They can heal him.
The Sun and Moon and Earendil's star (which is a Silmaril) all shine there along with the light of the gods.
