Lord of the Rings Series -- Amazon

They could have hired the OG trilogy costume designers, or poached the GoT lady whose work is amazing. I agree it's ridiculous for the price tag.

My biggest issue with the series so far is Galadriel. I'm told she is awesome with all her titles, etc. She is a moron, or worse in almost every scene. It's a poorly written character.

Also, some of the dialogue is horrible. I'm surprised people aren't memeing about the sea on here.

At least we got to see were all the money went last episode.

"The sea is always right."

Man, they're in for a RUDE surprise.

And I agree. They should have put Galadriel in more of a Gandalf role...the wise, older (way older...thousands of years older), subtly powerful leader who can swing a sword, but mostly doesn't have to.

On the topic of canon. Her conversation with Halbrand about who started the war. It's like a convo between a WWII American and a Japanese. "We lost the war" "We started it." Uh, if by 'started it' you mean actually declared war after being surprise attacked.
