Bpa is a good way to go if your in need of that position. If you don't need that position on your roster than you better be willing to trade the player that he will be replacing.Assuming that said player would actually bring some value other than a 3rd-4th round pick because everyone in the league knows that your trying to dump them and a pretty decent sized salary for another player/high second to maybe late 20's in the first in hopes of improving your team.
Gm's are cold natured beasts and you be very lucky to actually get a good deal on a player trade.
