What needs to be seen against the Panthers!!

It's only Week 3 but this is already the biggest game in the Dennis Allen era in my book. After everything that happened last week if the Saints don't rebound this week against the division rival Panthers it will be very telling of Allen's grip on the team.

First off, no division game is easy. NO MATTER WHAT. But the Saints are better than the Panthers and they need to establish dominance early and often to cement that point. The best way to that is to run the ball effectively. That will keep the Saints in manageable down and distance along with keeping that Panthers defense off balance. Jameis Winston doesn't have to play hero ball, just take what's available and let your play makers make plays. Check the ball down to Kamara if that's the best option. Do not hold on the ball too long and take sacks/negative plays.

Everyone has been talking about how well the Defense has played up to this point and yes they have been solid. However, to me they still haven't gotten home to the QB enough and I need to see that change, especially against a guy like Baker Mayfield. If this Defense wants to be known as elite then they have to chew that guy up and spit out big plays and turnovers.

I look at this game as a turning point for the entire season either one way or the other. I just hope and pray it's a positive one. WHO DAT!!!!
