The impact on the rest of the defense would be bigger than any pickup at LB or DB, I think. This is a draft deep in LB talent and I think having Ellis up front will make everyone better.

Agreed. With his pass rushing & pocket collapsing ability he would make a huge improvement to the pass rush.(It would limit opposing QB's ability to step up into the pocket to avoid the outside pressure from Grant & Big Will.) Better pressure from the d-line will make our secondary much better.
