There is a lot to say about yards (how you get them, how many, when, for-against, etc.) but in the end, the scoreboard doesn't keep track of yards.
The first game of last season, Winston only threw 14/20 for 148 yards, but that yielded 5 TDs. No one mentioned the 148 yards, just the 5 TDs.
In the same vein, what do we care if a QB throws for 350 yds, but they don't score enough to win the game?
