Imagine the thought process there, "some idiot cuts me off at a high rate of speed while my young daughter is in the car and that makes me angry because I care about her safety. So what should I do? I know! I'll equally act like an idiot and put my daughter and others lives at risk and replicate the other persons behavior." It makes zero sense.
