Are we ready to talk about The Honey Badger?

Look we couldn’t sign Willams. He is an up and coming player and we took an older cheeper option. The badger 2 years ago …was… an upgrade, today he isn’t but it was the best we could do with the $ we had.

Face it we lost Malcom due to retirement, lost Williams due to cap constraints. The badger was our best last option. There is a reason KC said “we will let him walk”.

We do the best we can with the hand we are dealt.

Many teams can’t say that. We spend and spend more.

We didn’t loose today because of him. We lost when Lat, one of the best (to me personally the best) was marked out on injury. He is a headache for any opposing team. We held our own. Malcom or Marcus wouldn’t have fixed today.

The fake a.. Baton Rouge fans are in their glory today. Don’t take their win from them today on another one if their own’s back….
PJ and Taylor being out don't help, either. Lattimore is obviously the more important DB, but PJ is a decent nickelback and Taylor did well in his brief action vs. TB.

But even with the injuries, we were playing the most sacked QB in the league. Our DL needs to step up at home and CONSISTENTLY pressure Burrow. Yeah, we got 3 sacks, but there were long stretches of the game where he had plenty of time. I'm reminded of a Bill Belichick quote where he sad sacks were the most overrated stat to him - he'd rather pressure the QB all game but get zero sacks then get a couple of sacks but fail to achieve pressure on most of the other dropbacks.
