What is a 3rd rounder @ QB going to do for us next season anyway? Stink up the joint, get you to the point where you're drafting #1 overall in '24? We probably can do that w/ Allen and the guys we have now.

Gospel! That will be the only way to get the guy you want.

But, it begs a larger question. Who do we trust to make this QB selection? Not DA or Micky Loomis. Perhaps Ireland could make the call, but he isn't GM yet. We can only hope. He is the only genius left over from Sean. There is no denying, our fortunes changed for the better, the day he walked into the building. Ireland was brought in to help Sean and Loomis.
