Nfl Owners to opt-out of bargaining deal... Dansby to get Franchised...
The history of the league and the players is to have a ridiculous strike despite the game's popularity and affluence. Like in the two strikes back in the 1980s (1982 and 1987). The saving grace since then has been the players getting the free agency they didn't have, and the NFL owners getting a cap on overall player compensation as a percentage of revenue. If that deal breaks down, I could see this turning ugly just like the haircuts on A Flock of Seagulls.
