Mamula was an unknown who improved his stock at the combine. Ellis was a highly regarded DT based on his play on the field.
I do think regardless of what he does between now and the draft, there's still a decent chance he'll be there at 10. He's listed at 6''1'' 285 pounds. Most teams prefer even their 3 tech DTs to be 300+ lbs and a few inches taller. Tommie Harris fell to 14 because of his size and he is bigger than Ellis.
