it's the pressure man - if i don't have a good day by myself, i'm only letting myself down
but if someone is requesting i have a good day what am i supposed to do? how is carrying the burden of their expectations supposed to help me?
and then how do i know what constitutes a good day to them?
maybe a good day for me is a good cup of coffee and a few bowel movements, but who is going to invest their hope of someone else's good day on such a low bar? maybe their sense of 'good' requires a public good - rescuing kittens or feeding the homeless or something
it's a LOT dude
