So all opinions aside about the rightness or wrongness of the trade, I wonder if there's any feeling on earth quite like the one she had getting in that car, safely out of Russian custody. I can't imagine an orgasm, a lottery win, even cheating death that would compare. Maybe the doctor saying "oops, we were wrong about that whole brain tumor thing" might come pretty close. I'm a little sad that I will never experience the level of pure joy that comes from going from the prospect of a lifetime of misery (let's be honest, she ain't living out 9 whole years there) to the confirmation that it's over.
