I don’t know how we can be so sure that Staley’s gone after season 2 just because Payton wants his job. We know Payton has interest but is the interest significantly mutual from the Chargers? Media makes it seem like Payton will strongarm his way into the Chargers HC position while Staley’s in just his 2nd year as a HC, under contract, and likely making the playoffs
