Corona Drinking Thread (renamed)

I lived in Littleton from Nov 2015 - June 2018. Never again. Brown dry and dead for most of the year, most of the precipitation is frozen... there is like one month of rain outside of the frigid months during which things grow.

My first year there I had no clue how to dress, I remember being at a bus stop pre-dawn, dressed for work with just an overcoat and gloves to add warmth IN -14.
As the stow fell and the wind blew it would have been beautiful if the leather soles on my shoes had not actually frozen.
What part of Littleton? I lived off Mineral between Broadway and Santa Fe for 20 years, but just moved to the foothills in Deer Creek Canyon (I'm somewhere between 7500 and 8000 feet, and it's around -14 right now).

But generally I love the Colorado weather. You get a few cold snaps now and again (though this is unusually cold), but you also get 300 sunny days a year with low humidity.
The place we bought sits on 10 acres -- we're a little out in the sticks, but the solitude and separation is just wonderful. I spent 20 years looking out my back door and seeing my neighbors front door. Now I look out my back door and see deer and trees and mountains.
