Andy Dalton is PFF’s 2nd highest graded passer this season

None of anything you say, or argue, validates in any manner, a "2nd highest graded passer" position.

He's overrated and overvalued because he is a savvy vet, who knows he will be looking for a new team AGAIN next year, and is willing to sacrifice trying to get first downs, so he can make a check down pass that makes his completion percentage look better on paper.
I don’t really care if anyone thinks he’s the second highest graded anything.

It’s just another one of many metrics that shows he’s been better than average this season. And I’ve posted a ton more in this thread dispelling a lot of other myths about his performance.

He’s not a franchise guy. We need to address the position aggressively this offseason.

But again, the point is that his performance hasn’t been the reason our record is so poor. He’s had a couple bad games. He’s had more good games. And he’s had some average games where his supporting cast (coaches and pass-catchers) have failed him miserably.
