Andy Dalton is PFF’s 2nd highest graded passer this season

many times this season I’ve been impressed by Andy making a great throw, often under pressure and into tight windows. In comparison, there are relatively few times I’ve noticed really poor throws. Y’all are so spoiled from all those years with Brees you don’t know what poor quarterbacking even looks like.

If only he made all those "great throws" in the 2 minute offense, the 4th quarter and in the red zone.

He's the absolute king of useless stats which is why his PFF ranking is so high. He plays it safe and will take an easy completion even if it kills the drive. PFF won't mark him negative for that and it saves his stats for guys like Saint Spud to salivate over.

He's had one successful 2 minute drive this season and hurt us against the Vikings and Cardinals with critical turnovers in those situations. He failed to do anything with a 2 minute drive against the Bengals.

3 and outs in the 4th quarter led directly to the Bucs comeback and gave the Falcons a chance. It put an exhausted defense back on the field against the Bengals which gave them a TD after some missed tackles. Hell even the Steelers were able to merc us in the 2nd half thanks to Dalton's 2 turnovers and zero points scored on offense.
