Andy Dalton is PFF’s 2nd highest graded passer this season

I don't know. Half of you might not agree but I feel Dalton has been decent. He is a back up but most back ups aren't efficient as he is.
I think that this is where most people should be: Dalton is a good backup, he is not a good starter. He won’t win you games on his own, but he can get you through a stretch where your starter is out. He can also get you through a stretch where you need a bridge for the future QB. And yes, he would have more success with Payton here, because Payton learned from Parcells, the coach that told his QB “If you don’t throw two interceptions today, I’ll be pissed.”
