When you have a record like that, suddenly all the breaks go your way and your team naturally adapts and grows more confident, and plays a lot more mistake-free brand football.

That inertia works in the opposite direction too, as we all know as Saints fans.
I agree that good/bad football is contagious, also the team has eight game-winning drives this year, so they have the experience of playing under pressure with the confidence from having success in those situations.

That said, their defense isn’t good and seven of their wins were one score victories over teams with losing records. They are 1-2 against current playoff teams, and those two losses were 17 and 37 point losses.

I don’t see them surviving the divisional round.
