The kids and I made what is probably our last visit to And Books Too this afternoon. It was a gorgeous day - clear, blue skies and 75 degrees. There were a few people in the place, but there was still plenty of inventory. Being that it was Wednesday, they even had new comics on the shelf. Everything was 25% off, so I found a comic and my daughter found a graphic novel. My son didn't find anything that he wanted. We stayed for probably about 15 to 20 minutes just looking around. When I asked if they were ready to go and they said yes, I just kind of stood there for a few seconds and my daughter said, "You're sad, aren't you?" I definitely was and I could feel the tiniest bit of dust in my eye. This is a place that I've gone to for 30 years and have brought the kids to since they could walk. I will miss the place and the smell of it when first walking in. Before we left, we took a selfie in front of the huge Silver Surfer they have in the front door so that I could have that last memory.
