Edit to add color, a realistic move order would be Qh5 Re8 Qh7+ Kf8 Qh8+ Ng8 Nh7# 1-0.
I usually gloss over any single ? errors that come up, but if I had to make a decision here, Qh5 leads to forced mate.I can see your reasoning. But here is another that makes no sense at all. It’s not like I’m planning 4 moves out. On this one if my opponent takes with pawn then on the next move I can threaten Queen with my other knight and they can’t do anything about it because of the reveal check. If they move into the corner then it’s mate in short order.
