Comic Con Talk (Renamed since LA Comic Con can't get it together)

Day 2 was pretty packed for Fan Expo. I hard to drive around a few times to find a way into a lot near the convention center. Crowd was really good and they had about 8 comic book vendors there. Far fewer cancellations this year than last year, which is expected considering Omicron began to peak right around last year's show.

Ironically, the guy who owns Humble Entertainment (the LA Comic Con folks) was there also. After he walked off, the rest of us talked about the split from AVC. Apparently his partner at AVC is far younger and wanted to do more shows (it's why you're seeing more Anime shows, etc. from him). Humble is trying to take it easy, has family, wants to do family things. He's more of a comics guy also.

Apparently the Bossier City show did not do well either.

I'll be back tomorrow for Day 3.
