I concur, I doubt that those numbers are anymore than 50% off correct at most. Which is pretty normal for warring nation's press releases during a conflict. The Russians also releasing numbers of Ukrainians killed which are that badly exaggerated.
I remember the nightly news reports during the Vietnam war, where 1,000 enemy killed vs. 15 good guys (ours) would be listed on the upper left corner of the TV screen for an average day.
Yet as we all know we were actually losing that war during that interval of time.
Anymore they have moved where they list things like that from the upper left corner of the screen, to the upper right corner of the screen, or along the bottom of the screen. So some things do indeed change.
