SEC in the National Champship this year?
After this past season the BCS Committee has given the SEC an automatic berth...
Actually... after this past season, they decided to scrap the BCS championship which has always caused much controversy and debate by deciding to quit screwing around and just make the SEC championship game the national championship game (assuming Notre Dame isn't in the top 50 by utilizing a panel of former notre dame alumni to select the rankings each year, then we have to let Notre Dame play in our SECCG.)
Outraged by this decision, in response... the AP has declared they will make USC the national champions every year regardless of season until a playoff system has been implimented.
USC has thus fired Pete Carroll and hired a monkey. With guarranteed championships, they decided paying millions of dollars for a coach every year was too expensive when they can just pay their new coach (curious george) in bananas. Oh, and they also changed the Trojan mascot to the man in the yellow hat.
Surprisingly, the monkey goes on to whip stanford every single year, so his tenure is viewed as a success.
